Come and spend a fabulously Christmassy day with me making a gorgeous and unique wreath. Vibrant colours combine with metallic leather and you’ll produce a showstopper whatever your experience in fabric craft.

Description

Combine tweed, tartan, bright felts and wire to make as many corsages as you can in your chosen colourway, before attaching them to your wire wreath with twine.  I supply the base, twine and the majority of materials but you do need to bring some tweed and plenty of glue – see requirements tab.

Note – the day the extended day: 10-5.30am to accomodate all the flower fixing but do allow for some finishing off time at home too.

Requirements

  • Your Lunch
  • Glue gun with plenty of glue sticks and a plate to place it in as you work.
  • A small shallow box or container to put your chosen fabrics in.
  • selection of plain felts and tweedy fabrics in your chosen colours to combine with my stash.  Even non christmassy colours work so do bring them.
  • Gold/silver/red/fushia/green metallic leatherette – one A4 sheet is ample.  If you can’t find do not worry as I have some.
  • paper scissors
  • fabric scissors
  • clothes pegs x 5
  • Gold zips – I supply enough for four flowers with zip centres .
  • any other christmassy decoration you want to add in – red berries, pheasant feathers etc.
  • Guttermann Textile glue. (the clear variety)  If you have this do bring it as its easier to use than a glue gun when working on fiddly bits!
