A Christmas coloured pencil workshop with local botanical artist Janie Pirie. Perfect for printing your own Christmas cards! Janie will also demonstrate how to include faux gold/silver leaf.
Ever thought what it would be like to send out Christmas cards you’ve designed yourself? Well, you can. Come to my one-day workshop and create a festive card, using coloured pencils, glitter and/or gold and silver leaf. You can draw baubles, holly, robins, glittering snow, polar bears, ribbons, trees, wrapped gifts – the list is endless. Getting cards printed in small quantities is very easy these days, so you’ll have something ready in plenty of time for the festive season.

Please Bring:
Your design on either tracing paper or good art paper
(If your design is on tracing paper I will have good art paper for you to transfer it onto.)OR
Some objects to draw (eg. baubles, ribbon, small box wrapped with Christmas paper, leaves such as holly and/or ivy, fir cones, mistletoe OR
Pictures of something you would like to copy (robins, deer, polar bear etc)
Coloured Pencils or Watercolours (or soluble CP’s)
There will be a small charge for faux gold/silver foils.
