You will make a range of cards using a variety of unusual techniques under the expert guidance of Dot, enabling you to experiment confidently with composition, colour and abstraction. A great way to get your confidence up in free motion.

Description

An enjoyable and creative way of experimenting with free machine embroidery techniques. You will be given full instruction and the support required to get you started and /or improve your skills and confidence. The techniques covered include the use of decorative papers created using bleeding tissue and rag paper,Collage and Laminating as well as free motion.

Times

10am-3.30pm

Requirements

Your sewing machine ( you must be able to cover the dog teeth)
A free motion foot for your machine
Scissors for cutting thread and paper
A selection of machine embroidery threads, if you have any and usual sewing kit.
Any aperture blank cards you may have.
Pritt stick
Glue brush

    I really enjoyed Dot’s Machine Embroidery and Laminated cards workshop. No pressure, just fun. I loved one of my cards so much, I had it printed up and sent out as my 2019 Christmas Card. !!
