Tutor Bio:
Sewing makes me happy. I have loved sewing since I was about 5 years old and over the years I have made many clothes, costumes, home furnishings and gifts for those I love. I enjoy each stage of the sewing process – starting with an idea, then planning and fabric shopping (ooh I LOVE fabric shopping!). When you buy a new item of clothing you come home from the shops and it’s there. When you buy fabric to make a garment then the shopping is just the beginning.
I get a real buzz from cutting out the fabric, pinning, sewing, adjusting as I go along and then finally a unique item finished just as you imagined (hopefully!) I have taught hundreds of people (adults and children) to sew and make their own clothes. I am here to help you along your sewing journey – every step of the way. I hope you will have as much fun as I do!
