Experimental Gelli Plate Journals with Sue Phillips

£95

Print, construct and stitch a vibrant Gelli Journal with mixed media artist Sue Phillips.

Description

This workshop is all about Geli Plate printing and the multi – layering effects you can achieve with just paint, stencils, stamps and stitch.  Sue is passionate about her printing and this is evident in her vibrant and colourful journals that combine a multitude of mixed media techniques.  Participants will construct a 5 inch by 5 inch journal with colourful contrasts and blends of acrylic paint layers to print from your plate.  These will form the pages and extra embellishments and additions, making it truly personal to you.  Let your imagination run loose. Text can be involved on paper and fabric and Sue will print off your personal thoughts/meanings, to add to your book the next day –  if you wish.  No rules just random creativity!
