‘Improv Piecing’ Workshop with Janet Goddard *Spaces Available

A Patchwork and quilting workshop with Janet Goddard.

Improv piecing is stitched on the machine and involves stitching blocks without measuring in an improvisational way. In the first part of the class we will cover techniques on how to piece improv squares, triangles, strips and curves. We will then move on to piecing a small quilt or cushion cover using the techniques learned.

For the first part of the workshop you will need scrap fabric to practise the techniques while in the second part of the class you will need fabrics for the cushion or small quilt project.
