Indian Tile – Machine Embroidery

Combine velvets and free motion embroidery to create a delicate panel for the wall. A great introduction to structural textiles using water soluble fabric.

Fully booked - please email to be added to the waiting list

This is a structured workshop designed to encourage the textile artist to think outside the box and work with material combinations they may not have previously considered.
Participants will create a highly ornate panel with the use of water soluble fabrics combined with appliqued space dyed velvets and decorative cords. Students will dissolve, dry and embellish panel at home but will be shown fully how to mount finished article. I am also at Braintree Archive on the 3rd May 2019. Contact venue direct to book.
