I enjoyed this day so much. I’d never done machine embroidery before, and was very pleased with the result. Such fun experimenting with colours and techniques. Alex is a lovely positive teacher, who gives excellent advice and instruction. Highly recommended.

I’ve just enjoyed such a fun day – as usual – being guided by Alex – in her inimitable style – through the Paint/Print/Stitch process. I am thrilled with what I have achieved so far, and look forward to many a happy hour finishing off my mini “work of art!” Don’t hesitate – come and join us at Alex’s studio soon.

Absolutely fantastic day. I’ve never worked with paints and fabric before so was totally out of my comfort zone and enjoyed every minute of it. Not being very adventurous with colours, I learnt how to put paint colours together and then completely change the look by adding threads and cord. I highly recommend this class.

I had a brilliant day. Having come along as a complete newbie to both machine embroidery and painting, I was convinced I would never be able to produce anything I would like to look at again, let alone frame and bung on the wall. I was totally gobsmacked by what I was able to produce under the expert and friendly guidance of Alex. She is a fantastic tutor, and not only was the day informative and productive, it was also great fun. Can’t wait to continue with my learning journey in textiles.
