Mandala Designs Wall Hanging – Machine Embroidery

Under Tutor and creative quilter Vendulka you will be shown step by step, how to paint with her gorgeous glitter liners a quilted wall hanging or cushion cover.

You will be able to choose from a selection of mandala designs which are made for free motion quilting or you can choose one with straight stitch using a walking foot – so she can accommodate all abilities. Once quilted, you will then spend the afternoon adding a colour to your design with a Marabu liner, which are very easy to use and provided on the class.

You will need to bring a piece of plain-ish fabric in the size you’d like your hanging or your cushion to be. Usually Fat quarter is big enough unless you want to go bigger. This can be light or dark colour.
Wadding of the same size (or little bit bigger)

Backing fabric – preferably calico or plain LIGHT fabric as we will trace a design onto the back if your front fabric will be too dark or to avoid the lines
Thread for the quilting – variegated looks really good, choose one which will stand out on your top fabric

Extension table for you machine if you have one
