Explore the delicate art of pencil drawing with Ella and create three owl portraits with the materials she provided in a box posted to your home.
In the first video Ella will talk you through the different pencil grades to produce effective results when drawing a Tawny owl portrait. She will also show you how to create a range of tonal effects such as stippling, cross-hatching and free-shading all using pencil.
In the second video Ella will also show you how to achieve similar results on a using black pigment ink pens. She will guide you through drawing a cute Scops Owl using tried and tested pen techniques.Â
In the third video Ella will give you a quick and easy guide to ink brush drawing to create an expressive owl face.Â
