Take as a stand alone workshop or make it into a course and come to Batik books on the 22nd Sept or John Piper Explorations in Batik on 23rd Sept 2023.
The beautiful shapes of seedpods and various plant forms will be used as inspiration to create batiks on cotton fabric. Working with hot wax as a resist and inks we will create imaginative interpretations of the theme, two different approaches to the technique will be explored.

Your Lunch (there is a fridge)
Some materials provided, just bring an apron, hairdryer, gloves and images for inspiration, also white cotton fabric, two pieces up to A3 in size. These can be vintage or pre used light or white cotton.
