Description
Working with a shrinkable fabric base we will layer up lots of different natural fabrics – silks, satins, cottons, linens, tapes and lace – and stitch in various ways to create texture. All machine stitching. At the end of the day we will dye each piece with procion dyes and take home to wash and shrink. Makes a fabulous highly textured surface for future stitch.
Main Pic – a piece created by Mara Webb .
