Wonderful workshop learning new techniques. Mel is a very talented tutor and nothing is too much trouble, bless her. Even answered the same questions time and time again ‘cos we were all concentrating on what we were doing! It was fascinating to see how transfer dyes go from look (quite frankly) different shades of brown, to wonderful vibrant colours. Amazing – I would never have tried this technique on my own as I just didn’t realise how wonderful it is. Lovely group altogether.

Alex: this is not a review, but I missed out finishing the word ‘looking’ – left out the ‘ing’ if you can put it in please!

Really enjoyed this workshop with Mel. Learning about transfer paints and the wonderful colours that are produced using this method. The choice of patterns for the bowls are very unique, I chose the fish and I am so pleased with the finished piece of work that I did. Mel is a great tutor so inspiring and has a wonderful sense of humour. Lovely workshop. I highly recommend.
