Description
This fun workshop involves designing then cutting coloured transparent, decorative and opal glass to make either a square or rectangular shallow dish or Wall Art. The sizes are approximately 24cm x 16cm or 20cm square. You can embellish your design further with glass frit, stringers or confetti to make a unique piece of art glass as a plate or wall hanging. It would make an ideal gift for someone special. Fenella will teach the techniques involved to achieve this and all equipment and materials are provided. Your finished work will be taken home by the tutor to fire then slump in her kiln before returning it to the studio for you to collect within a couple of weeks after the workshop. If you decide you would like to create a piece of Wall artwork Fenella will prepare the piece to be fixed in the wall before bringing back to Elm Farm for collection.
