Description

Lots of absolutely scrumptious textures and colours to play with in this fun yet relaxing hand stitch workshop. You will have the opportunity to create 4 delightfully different but complimentary compositions. The stitched and beaded details are worked on a printed cotton linen canvas. Interesting and unusual yarns are manipulated in order to build up layers of texture and colour. You can follow annotated images exactly or experiment using the techniques and stitches demonstrated. Some materials are provided and feel free to bring yarns, fine ribbon and beads along that you may have in your stash. Mounting and framing ideas will also be covered.

Milliners needles approx size 3 to 5

Crewel needle approx size 5 to 7

Beading needle or if you find these difficult to thread crewel needle size 9 or smaller

Tapestry needle approx size 20
