A one-day workshop hand stitching a vintage style textile piece. You will nudge the past into the present exploring traditional hand stitching techniques like cross stitch and Suffolk puffs in a contemporary way.

Description

This vintage style vase allows you to repurpose those precious old linens so you can enjoy them again. Creating something that reminds you of the past. You will explore traditional hand-stitching techniques to create flowers. I will show you how I use dissolvable counted canvas to enable you to accent your piece with cross stitch and share ideas how you can embellish your piece using vintage lace and a contemporary spin on the Suffolk puff.
