‘Summer Landscape’ A Hand-Stitch Workshop with Dot Ronaldson *New

A textile workshop enabling you to capture the beauty of a summer  landscape. The day begins with the composition of a collage using fabrics painted by me. A range of hand stitches are then used to create a floral

foreground and add definition to the background.

Stitches include bullion and french knots, fly stitch, feather stitch, chain stitch, running stitch and whipped stitching.
You will also have the opportunity to paint a selection of fabrics ( mainly Sudbury silk) to take home for future compositions.
All stages and stitches are demonstrated and the basic principles of landscape composition are covered.
