Join myself and Liz of Patchwork Consulting for a creative and inspiring three-day stitch course at the idyllic Ivy House Country Hotel, nestled in the heart of beautiful gardens near Lowestoft. This peaceful location offers the perfect blend of comfort and creativity, providing an ideal space to learn, and be inspired.
This course encapsulates my passion for textiles , covering all my favourite techniques which I am excited to share with you once more at Ivy House. Over three days, we will create a richly layered decorative panel, exploring a wide range of techniques and free motion stitching – all guided by both group and one to one demonstrations.
This course is ideally suited to those with experience in free machine embroidery who are looking to expand their practice through the incorporation of mixed media techniques. It is particularly valuable for anyone wishing to explore gold applications, block printing, and soldering as methods for creating texture, pattern, and structure within their work.
Returning participants are welcome to develop a larger-scale piece using blocks of their choice. Please email Alex before booking to discuss your ideas and proposed direction for the course.
