Description

A Gelli Plate printing technique day using flowers, leaves and grasses. This workshop promises be a fabulously creative printing day, combining Gelli Plate printing techniques with gold embossing, under Norfolk artist Lucy Perry. Prints will be used to make up collages on mount board in the afternoon.

*Participants will use acrylic paint and can bring their own. Cheaper acrylic brands work well such as Studio by Pebeo (Hobby Craft) and Lucy brings a retarder medium to prevent them from drying out too quickly. However If you want to invest in the best head to:

Bring rollers but I have plenty.

And also some botanicals – either fresh or pressed – bulky flowers won’t work but leaves, grasses, more delicate or pressed flowers and even weeds can be very pretty!
Any metallic acrylics you may have in your stash but I bring plenty.
A hair dryer or heat gun
Paper scissors, A craft knife, cutting board if you have one.

Tutor To Bring:

Selection of acrylics to include metallic and iridescent paints.
Selection of papers.
Metallic stamp pads and embossing powder for the ultimate bling.
A few hair dryers, cutting matts, matt medium.
