Landscape batik on fabric scroll/ book with Jenny O’Leary * New 2025

Description

Inspired by the exciting art of batik – hot wax resist, and inks on cotton fabric we will use traditional and nontraditional tools to create interesting marks and textures to form pieces inspired by landscape. Pieces will be based on a panoramic landscape theme to allow them when finished, once the wax is removed to be made into folded book forms or scrolls and for further embellishment with stitch.
