Description

Morning – collecting leaves and monoprinting onto semi-transparent fabric. Colouring with paints and inks. Range of colourways.

Afternoon – using our printed fabrics to stitch using the contemporary Pojagi piecing method.

The outcome will be a unique double sided semi-transparent panel ideal to hang in a window or against a pale wall. The size can be adapted to fit your space.

*Please see Requirements list. Mary will provide the acrylic inks and the white and coloured cotton organdie fabric for £15.00 payable on the day.

Requirements :

Your lunch
A4* gelliplate or laminated A4 sheet or OHP acetate
Padded surface – old sheet or towel
Brayer
Acrylic paints in your chosen colours plus black
Small spray bottle
A4 copier paper – approx. 20 sheets
Old iron
Sewing machine in good working order
Variety of machine threads in your chosen colourway
Cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter
Usual sewing kit – pins, scissors
