‘Not just a Wash Bag’ with Stella

Description

Come along for a one day course to complete this super handy zippered pouch.  With a structured wide opening, this easy to make pouch is certainly “not just a wash bag”!  Ideal for beginners to bag making.
I will supply interfacing, foam and bag frame within the £63.00 workshop fee.
For 2024 Stella and I have teamed up, combining the Pebbles technique with her Wash bag and Bobble Purse.  Why not create your ‘pebble’ fabric the day before (Friday 16th February)  and come back the next day to create the washbag with Stella out of your gorgeous Pebble Fabric. Requirements:

2 contrasting fat quarters of exterior fabric – this will give you enough to make two.  If you prefer to just use one exterior fabric you will only need one fat quarter.  Upholstery weight fabrics are best for the exterior.
One fat quarter lining fabric (cotton, silk)
16” zip (ideally a bag zip, Jaycotts have a good choice of colours jaycotts.co.uk)
This is a measure and cut pattern, so please bring cutting mat, ruler and blade
Iron and ironing mat
Quilting clips are handy (but not essential)
Usual sewing kit – scissors, pins etc
Sewing machine
Thread in a colour to either match or contrast your exterior fabric for top stitching.
