Description
Participants will create two seed head panels simultaneously; one on silk, the other on calico, using textile paints and acrylics. The morning will be spent building up backgrounds on which to use commercial Indian stamps and your own stamps created on the day. You will then choose which panel to stitch into – using your your free motion foot. Participants will also use sheers and cords to add depth and texture to the panel. The other panel can be completed at home using the techniques learnt. If you wish you can also add hand stitch to your chosen panel. Ideal for those new to free – machine embroidery.
- This workshop can be taken as the first of a series of Machine Embroidery workshops I plan on offering in 2025. Participants can choose to work through each project listed below or attend just one if they fancy!
