Workshop is ideal for those new to FME. The ‘pebble’ technique was originally developed from working samples produced for a coastal exhibition. I went on to develop the idea and started to use the technique in my bags and cushions. Each completed piece will be unique to you and the day offers a chance to play with textures and colour combinations with super results.
I provide a large quantity of mixed fabrics but if you are able to raid your own stash of little bits of space-dyed or commercial fabrics to inc silk velvet, dupion, velvet, metallic leather/faux leather – sequin fabrics this will be helpful on the day. Bring these along to mix with mine.
