Join us at Elm Farm Studio for our Papershades workshop and you’ll discover the joys of easy print-making and paper collage. No experience is needed. Ros, your tutor, will show you how to make, print and then create your own artwork on A4 card.
For this workshop you’ll take inspiration from nature using leaves to make prints on tissue paper. You can combine your own prints made in the studio with a wide range of other printed paper to create a very original design. Then the design will be printed onto panels of paper to create your lampshade.
Once your design is finished Ros will then print your finished design onto special Papershades paper and you’ll have the fun of constructing a very original paper lampshade.
We’ll spend the morning print-making, then, in the afternoon, the creative collaging begins. All the material is provided and there will be plenty of time for everyone to work at their own pace. At the end of the workshop everyone will go home with a beautiful and totally unique paper lampshade.
