Description
I am very excited to be offering this workshop in 2024. I plan on demonstrating the different effects in the pieces shown here at the Festival of Quilts this year, and will be offering experimental packs to introduce those to the delights of bling and paint on fabric but I feel the composition and the stitch element, would be best taught in person at the studio. There will be more of an emphasis on creating your own stencils and incorporating them in your artwork and we will build up two small compositions simultaneously before stitching at least one of them on day two. It is not necessary to have come to SS1 previously but participants do need to feel confident using the free motion foot on the sewing machine (plus a love of bling a given 🙂
