Just looking back at rather a busy couple of months. A massive thank you to Vanda for introducing Cyanotype here (and she even managed not to turn the studio completely blue!) . Gorgeous prints were produced by everyone and I am pleased she is coming back next year for a repeat workshop. Her days are already full but as with all of the workshops this can change so do let me know if you want to be put on her waiting list.

We also had Melanie Missin Keating of MellyMade Designs teaching her soldered bowls – she gave everyone a super day.  I will publish more photos of completed bowls as they come in.

Sian Fenwick gave nine ladies an early ‘Indian Summer’ with her elephant wall hangings and she is coming back in September at the beginning of June next year.

Fenella Miller continues to create gorgeous glass stands- if you haven’t had a chance to book on and would like to do so, let me know.

Ella Johnston still has a couple of spaces on her forth coming feather illustration workshop. She has an amazing ability to bring out the artist in all and the artwork that is produced by her students is really impressive.

I have been out and about this May and met and worked with both the Ridgewell Patchwork and Friends Group and the Essex and Suffolk Quilters.  Both are local groups and great groups of ladies to work with. Thank you for having me.

Whilst Dot Ronaldson was weaving her magic here in the studio I was teaching the Mixed Media Tryptch at Craft Arena with Denise Gannon.  I always love going there and she has a great stock of arty textile stuff – definitely worth a trip.

Stitchers Inc Textiles continue to go from strength to strength and have recently taken on two members; Nickie Kimber and Ju Pearce. Both so talented and I can’t wait to showcase their work alongside all the Stitchers Inc members in our next exhibition at the Minories Gallery in September 2020.  Gulp….exciting!

Finally for now -I just want to thank you all for your continued support and friendship. Your ‘likes’, shares, smiley faces, emails and your reviews; it all helps to get the word out and I feel very lucky to be surrounded and supported by you good folk so.. Thank you xx
