Create a stunning three dimensional art work with what promise to be a fantastic two days with Dot Ronaldson using both hand and machine techniques on painted fabric.

This workshop is a fun way to improve your free machine and hand embroidery skills. The composition can include flowers, leaves, seed heads and pods. These are made from gessoed calico which is painted with lumiere and dynaflo paint. A range of stitching and construction techniques as well as a variety of thread types are used to ensure an exciting three dimensional piece is created. This can then be mounted.  Photographs from RAWEdge Exhibition, Thaxted 2018

Little did I realise this would be my final workshop for a while. At least it was a superb curtain call, taught by Dot in her incredible way- full of advice, tips and fun. I so enjoyed every single moment and can definitely recommend it. Many thanks for two fabulous days.
