Elm Farm Studio based in North Essex, is a creative hub for anyone wanting to learn something new or build on existing skills. I offer a range of exciting Textile Art, Design and craft workshops and courses for all abilities. For those who cannot get to the studio, a number of machine embroidery projects & courses have been developed to be delivered as ‘projects in a box’ so you can learn at your own pace at home too.
'Design for Stitch' is a structured year long course that I offer across ten practical days in the studio. Designed for those with a machine embroidery background wishing to leap into a world of new techniques and processes whilst creating beautiful artworks centred around flowers and landscapes. I mentor students through my textile groups and some of my students go on to show their work at events and exhibitions at a range of venues, including the the Mill Tye in Great Cornard & Sentinel Gallery in Wivenhoe, Essex. Keep an eye out to see what we have coming up! Stitchers inc are currently working towards their 2nd showing of 'ICONIC' this time at the Sentinel Gallery 28th May-2nd June 2024.
