Mini Exhibition at Elm Farm News:
With huge thanks to Angela Woodget, Lesley Phillips , Denise Stocker, Juliet Day and Lorraine George for their loan of textile art produced in and out of the studio in the last twelve months. It has been a pleasure being back in there the last few weeks – but made all the more so, being surrounded by their talent! This last month, although back in full swing and beginning to fulfil the rescheduled workshops, I have had some spare time as the boys are both back at Uni. I have booked a number of new workshops with an exciting cast of tutors taking us through to the middle of 2022. From Batik artist Jenny O’Leary , to Hayley Lambert and her gorgeous Hand Knitted Blankets in November and Gold Work with Wendy Mansfield, starting with dragonflies and butterflies workshop. Her July ’21 workshop sold out really fast so there is now another date with spaces at the end of March 2022. If you have booked on a workshop/ been given a new workshop date, and can no longer come please contact me before eight weeks from the workshop date to ensure a refund.
Stitchers Inc Textiles Group finally get to display their long awaited exhibition : ‘Another Stitch in the Wall’ at the Mill Tye Gallery , Great Cornard, Sudbury, CO10 0GW. Design For Stitch – A ten day course across 12 months:
This year I have split the new group into two smaller groups of six, and running from September through to June 2022. All the ladies have had their dates moved several times and have had to be so patient! But fingers crossed we can finally get the course back up and running in September. I love teaching this course – something I am very proud of as it has developed and grown over ten years of teaching .
